Hi I was wondering How far a long in advance can you plan a WDW vacation? Planning to go for the WDW 50th Anniversary and want to see what would be approx. cost. Planning a 20 plus family trip.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Margarita! I love that you’re planning a big family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! The more the merrier!

You can start booking your Disney Resort hotel room 499 days before your highly anticipated visit. It just gives you that much more time to decide on all of the magical details! To start your planning, just reach out to a Resort Reservation Specialist at (407) 939-1936. They’ll be happy to help you!

Margarita, it’s also a good idea to keep an eye out for any Special Offers that may become available, because you can always modify your reservation to add a promotion. Just use the same phone number I listed above.
Mickey and his friends offer promotions for every season of the year, so it’s very possible that one of them will coincide with the dates of your next planned visit.

When it comes to getting your family organized, I suggest visiting the Planning Guide for Traveling with Family and Friends page on the Official Disney site. There are lots of tips in there to keep everyone in your group in the know, when it comes to planning using your My Disney Experience account. It will save you lots of time!

I hope this information is helpful to you. Don’t hesitate to come back to see us. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your family’s next magical adventure!
