I was wondering how early can you book a vacation with disneyland

Hi there, Samantha! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!

Currently, you can book a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package through the end of 2020. So, the latest check-in date you can get right now is December 31, 2020. The calendar typically opens for the following year by the end of August. I’m so excited for you to start planning your magical vacation, Samantha! Have you thought about where you’d like to stay yet? With Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages, you can choose between Disneyland Resort Hotel Packages, or Good Neighbor Hotel Packages. In my opinion, you simply can’t go wrong with one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels! Personally, my favorite choice is Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, thanks to the beautiful décor, luxurious amenities, and exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. When I’m with my family, we also love visiting the Disneyland Hotel! I think my children would ride the Monorail Waterslides all day if they could! Plus, the classic Disney nostalgia is truly magical.

You can start making your dining reservations up to 60 days before your visit. Blue Bayou Restaurant, Carnation Cafe, Lamplight Lounge, and Wine Country Trattoria are a few of my favorite dining options. I also recommend making a reservation for Oga’s Cantina at the Disneyland Resort, located in a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I love sipping on a Yub Nub while listening to the beats of DJ R-3X! Reservations are also recommended for building a custom astromech droid unit at Droid Depot, and for customizing your own legendary lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers

I also recommend downloading the Disneyland app – it’s a great handy helper as you make your magical plans! Before your trip, you can use it to prep your Disney account, make dining reservations, and link your theme-park tickets. Then, once you arrive at the parks, you can use it to check attraction wait times, find favorite Characters, mobile order food, and make Disney FASTPASS selections with Disney MaxPass!

Please stop by with any additional planning questions, Samantha… I’m all EARs!

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 8, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
