Epcot Monorail around Spaceship Earth

I was wondering if Disney World has direct bus transportation from each of its theme parks to another theme park (ie - Magic Kingdom directly to Animal Kingdom) without having to pay for the express transportation service?

    Hi Norbert,

The new Express Transportation Option is an awesome way to get from park to park quickly -- for an extra fee. The service, accessed from inside each park, allows you to take a nonstop bus to your next park without waiting at the front entrance again.

The free Walt Disney World transportation, however, remains available for your parkhopping fun and can connect you from any park to the next. At Magic Kingdom, buses are available to Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom from the bus depot near the entrance. To reach Epcot, take the monorail or ferry to the Transportation and Ticket Center for express monorail service.

At the bus depot at the front of Epcot, you can get transport to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Boats also connect Hollywood Studios and Epcot, running between Epcot's International Gateway exit and the Hollywood Studios entrance with stops at the Epcot-area resorts in between.

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are connected to the other parks by buses available near the parks' entrances. It also is possible to walk between Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway entrance of Epcot along a wide path through the Epcot resort area. That's my family's choice over the boats. Walking is just as fast or faster and you can stop for ice cream or a drink at Boardwalk or the Yacht Club and Beach Club along the way!

Buses run from all four parks to Disney Springs as well, beginning at 4 p.m. daily, but no return service is provided.

If that all seems a little confusing, don't worry! You can use the Disney Parks Mobile App's "Get Directions" feature to help guide you. Thanks for your question, Norbert. Enjoy your parkhopping Walt Disney World vacation!
