Hello! I was wondering if my dining reservations will stop the system from showing me or letting me book fastpasses at the times of my reservations?

    Hi Christen,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's exciting to start thinking about what restaurants, rides and attractions you're going to experience on your Walt Disney World vacation. Let's get started!

You can make dining reservations up to 180 days in advance, so that's often the first step in planning your itinerary. FastPass+ reservations can be made 60 days in advance if you are staying in a Walt Disney World resort or 30 days in advance if you are staying off site.

Sometimes, the perfect FastPasses to meet your family's ride and attraction priorities conflict with dining you planned well ahead of time. Though both dining reservations and FastPass+ are linked to your My Disney Experience account, they are not directly linked to each other. So go ahead and grab the best FastPasses for you. My Disney Experience should alert you about conflicts with your dining plans, but it won't stop you from booking them.

You may or may not then need to adjust the time of your dining reservation. For example, if  your FastPass+ window is 4:50 to 5:50 p.m. and your dining reservation is for 5:40 in the same park, you should be fine as long as you enter the FastPass+ line right at 4:50. If the time is tighter or if you are planning to leave the park for a restaurant in a resort, Disney Springs or another park, you probably need to modify your dining reservation.

Please remember to take travel time into account. The My Disney Experience mobile app can assist. Use the "Get Directions" or "Travel Directions" function to find approximate travel times between attractions, restaurants, parks and resorts.

I hope that helps you begin your planning, Christen. Please let us know if you want our recommendations on dining, the best rides or other experiences. Enjoy!
