Mom and child in resort room

Hi! Wondering if cots are available at Beach Club Villas. There are only 4 of us in a 1 bedroom, but we have a snorer! We love him, but would like to isolate him in the living room on the pull out couch!

Hey there, Lori. I just want you to know that I feel your pain, my sister in snore suffering. As much as we love my husband, there's nothing that can dampen a Walt Disney World vacation quite like being sleep deprived after a night of his window rattling snoring. Bless his heart.

The Beach Club Villas offer very spacious accommodations, where you do have room to spread out a bit. The 1-bedroom villas have a king sized bed in the bedroom, and that queen sized sleep sofa in the living room, perfect for isolating the roaring train sounds of a snorer. Unfortunately, there are no cots available at the resort for the rest of you to use as additional bedding in the bedroom.

What you can do, however, is bring an inflatable air mattress, which can be found at most department stores that have an outdoors section. They blow up pretty easily, and can deflate quickly so you regain floor space in the morning. Another alternative - and one we've used on our vacations - is ear plugs. Even the lightest sleeper in our gang (me) can get at least some sleep with the use of the ear plugs. Of course, I may not hear the alarm in the morning, so you may want to put someone else in charge of the alarm clock if you have an early morning dining reservation.

I hope you find a solution that will work for your family. We've done the snore strips, the mouth guards, and even putting a wedge behind him so he can't roll over on his back, and my husband out-snores the best of them. Try the ear plugs!

    Good luck!
