Hello, I was wondering if you can charge the food you buy throughout your stay to your Magic Band even if you didn't purchase a meal plan? It would be convenient to be able to pay for all of the food in one lump sum at the end of our stay. Thanks!

Hi Erin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are going to love the convenience of your MagicBand! Great news! Yes! Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can use their MagicBands to charge dining, merchandise and other magical extras to their Disney Resort hotel room folio. Be sure you keep your MagicBands with you and easily accessible when you travel as you will need them to unlock your room when you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel. They are also needed if you plan to use Disney's Magical Express from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel.

Have you set up your My Disney Experience account yet? It's such a great tool as you plan and enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Be sure each member of your traveling party is linked to your Family & Friends list so everyone is included when you make your advance dining reservations and FastPass+ selections.

I'm so excited for you Erin. Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you need any further tips or advice as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
