Hi I was wondering if I could use a bank statement as proof of residency? Since I don’t have a Cali ID, only a school ID

Greetings, Natalie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The special ticket offer for southern California residents is a great way to spend two or three days at the Disneyland Resort between now and May 24, 2018 (some blackout dates apply). This offer is only available to those who reside in southern California ZIP codes 90000-93599 and Northern Baja California ZIP codes 21000-22999. As you mentioned, proof of residency is required to purchase these tickets and to activate them at the gates. Only government-issued identification like a driver’s license or a state ID card are accepted as proof of residency, so unfortunately a bank statement or a student ID would not be valid.

However, please don’t let this stop you from experiencing all the fun and magic at the Disneyland Resort! Regular theme park tickets can be purchased online or on the Disneyland app and I recommend checking the Offers & Discounts page frequently to see if a promotion comes along for which you would be eligible. Further, you might even consider an Annual Passport if you will be living in California for at least another year. With an annual pass, you can visit throughout the year and enjoy special discounts on food and merchandise. With the 2018 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival starting March 2nd, you may just find yourself at the parks between classes to feast on all the scrumptious food offered during this unique event!

    Have a magical day!
