I was wondering what is the average time that it takes to go through the fast pass line? Trying to plan out how long we should wait to get our second fast pass that will be on other side of the park.

Hello, Cynthia! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your FastPass+ question. When you choose a FastPass+ experience, you will be assigned an arrival window that will allow you to experience the selected attraction during a set timeframe as opposed to a more exact reservation (usually within a one hour window). Please note that some shows and parades may require you to arrive at a more specific time, so you will need to refer to the timeframe that is assigned to you when you make your FastPass+ selections to see what each arrival window is.

Personally, I have never had to wait more than ten minutes to get through a FastPass+ line queue to enjoy an attraction, but I'm sure others have mixed experiences with wait time depending on factors such as holidays, time of year for visit, crowd levels, etc. I don't think you should have any trouble with making back-to-back FastPass+ selections for attractions that are on opposite ends of the park, unless the first attraction is a show or a parade (which generally run longer than the rides and character greetings).

That said, I typically make my FastPass+ selections a bit more spread out so that I don't have to feel rushed between attractions. I tend to choose times and attractions based upon where I think I will be during the day, so the only time I would personally choose back-to-back FastPass+ selections would be for attractions in the same general area of the park that I am visiting.

If you have any additional questions about FastPass+, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning, Cynthia!
