Hi I was wondering when my annual pass technically starts. If I activate it at a guest relations but dont physically enter a park with until a month later when is my start date?

Hello there, Jessica! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by and allowing us to help you with your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Welcome to the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family! There are so many neat benefits to becoming an Annual Passholder that extend far beyond entrance into the four theme parks! For one, Passholders are eligible to receive special discounts on food, beverages, merchandise, special events, spa treatments, and more. I have definitively utilized my Passholder discount on spa treatments on more than one occasion and can definitively recommend this usage! You also receive advance FastPass+ reservations as well as complimentary standard parking at all parks. As if that wasn’t enough, there are also seasonal offerings for Passholders throughout the year! Currently, you can stop by the International Festival of the Arts at Epcot in order to purchase special themed merchandise and a complimentary Figment magnet!

Activating your Annual Pass can be a bit confusing at first glance! You may activate your Annual Pass at any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window or a Disney Springs Guest Relations location. Just be sure to bring along your exchange certificate and a valid photo ID! The date on which you activate your Annual Pass will be the day it begins. So, if you activate your Annual Pass on June 4, 2019, it will be active from that date though June 4, 2020.

Have fun continuing to plan your trips over the next year! Please let us know if we can help with any other part of your Walt Disney World Resort trip!
