Hello wonderful Moms Panel. Planning a trip to WDW for 2013. Hoping to go in September sometime. Can you tell me the best part of September to be in WDW, and what is the weather like then? Also, is there any special activities happening during Sept.?

    Hello, Lucille!

We Moms think you're wonderful, too! :-)

My son and I just returned from our second annual September trip to Walt Disney World, and I have one event to suggest to you: the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! While this event usually kicks off near the very end of September, if you plan your trip accordingly, you could arrive before it begins, but finish off the end of your trip with some very relaxing, fantastic days sampling the special small plates and beverage pairings offered at Epcot.

During September, the average September temp is a high of 90 and a low of 72. The days will still be warm, with evenings that may be cool enough for a light jacket (although that was certainly not the case this past week, when it was warm until the wee hours of the morning.)

Send more questions as you plan your September trip to WDW; I'd love to help!
