Hello Wonderful Helpers, We recently discovered The Boneyard at Animal Kingdom and my 2 year old loved it. Is there a similar play area in any of the other 3 parks? Thanks!

    Hello Wonderful Melissa!

The Boneyard in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is wonderful isn't it? When my son was a toddler, we must have spent nearly 2 hours just at that attraction alone. Who knew digging could be so much fun?! :-)

Although the Boneyard is the only of its kind in terms of digging and excavation, there are plenty of other activities and attractions your 2-year old may enjoy.

For instance, the Discovery Island Trails at Discovery Island in the Animal Kingdom Theme Park was fun for my son, as he played little adventurer when he made his way throughout the laid-out paths. The Kidcot Fun Stops at World Showcase in Epcot has crafts and fun activities your child may enjoy. There is also Tom Sawyer Island in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom Park, which my son enjoyed taking the log raft over to the island and exploring the many passage ways and caves that makes the island so special. Lastly, if your child just likes playing with sand as my son did at that age, there are kid's areas at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, and beach area resorts such as the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian Village resorts.

Thanks again, and have a magical day!
