You moms are wonderful! Fam of 5 visiting in JulyMy mom has stenosis of her spine and may need a wheelchair. How does this wk?Do we need a drs note?At the parks & the lines,What do we do?She doesn't want it for the bus just to help w/walking/standing

    Hi Melissa,

I'm happy to help with this question as I went through something similar with my mom.  You can rent a wheelchair at every park, and you don't need a doctor's note.  In reference to the lines, when you get to each ride speak to the Castmember in front.  If there is a special wheelchair entrance (and a lot do have them), they will show you where it is.  The Castmembers are always ready and happy to assist Guests with disabilities.

Please check out the Guests with Disabilities webpage that I've added.  It contains much more detailed information, and even provides printable guides to help you through each park.

I hope this information helps you.  I'm wishing you all a very magical time at Walt Disney World.
