Hi, I just wondered do u have to have a reservation for Be our guest for lunch? People have said about big queues across the bridge leading into the restaurant, is this queue like a stand by line or just to get in with a pre booked reservation? Thanks.

Hi Tracy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Tucked away under Beast's Castle in the Magic Kingdom Park, Be Our Guest Restaurant has found quite a following among Guests of Walt Disney World. The amazing atmosphere and fabulous food, all part of a quick-service lunch, makes it a special dining experience that most everyone can appreciate.

Advance reservations are not required for lunch at Be Our Guest - but they are highly recommended. The line that you see on the bridge leading up to the front door is for diners who have not made reservations. The last time I was there, the line stretched almost to the end of the bridge. When I asked a Cast Member how long the wait was at that time, she estimated that it was about 20 to 30 minutes. That day wasn't a particularly busy one in the park, so I'd expect the wait to be longer during busier times.

If you do have a lunch reservation, you'll check in at the end of the bridge, then head straight to the door. You may have to pause a few minutes before going in, but your wait will be minimal. The dining rooms are open seating during lunch service, so after paying for your meal, just grab a table and your meal will magically find you.

I hope this helps you plan your lunch at this wonderful restaurant, Tracy. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions. We love to help!

    Have a magical day,

    Kathy K.

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
