Hello, I wonder if a popcorn from Disney parks carries milk ... Butter? My son is allergic to a cow's milk protein. thanks

Hi there, Vanda! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for reaching out and asking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

This is actually a question I recently had myself! After developing a dairy intolerance, I've been scouring all of my resources to verify exactly which of my favorite snacks I can still enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort. I am so very pleased to let you know that the standard popcorn offered throughout the parks does not contain dairy! Instead, it is popped using canola oil and coconut oil. I don't know about you but I am thrilled that myself and others with dairy allergies will be able to enjoy this tasty snack!

Outside of their popcorn offerings, Walt Disney World Resort is amazing at handling dietary restrictions and food allergies! Many dining locations actually offer allergy-friendly menus that list common food allergies and potential substitutions to accommodate for them. However, if your child has multiple food allergies or if you would prefer a more in-depth discussion, Guests are always welcome to consult with their server or a chef regarding their special diet needs whenever they arrive at the restaurant.

Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks and food items into the park when visiting! This can be particularly helpful when you're attempting to find allergy-friendly snacks in a pinch!

I hope this information will help you and your son enjoy your upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can help you with planning any other part of your trip!
