Hello Wilma! I am a friend of Julia. We will visiting WDW March 27-30. We would like to make dinner RSVPs for a nice dinner one of these nights. We will have 3 kids ages 13- 17,(all picky eaters) and 3 adults. Any suggestions?

    Hi Karen,

Nice to meet you! I'm always happy to talk about great places to eat at Walt Disney World.

When you have picky eaters, I think the buffets are a good choice. They all have basics such as macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza and so forth. The carving stations normally have roast beef, chicken or turkey. But the more adventurous eaters can taste dozens of dishes, some much more exotic.

My family particularly likes Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was the restaurant we chose for Thanksgiving last year because of the yummy food and the beautiful location.

You also might like Cafe May Cafe at the Beach Club resort, which highlights seafood but has lots of other entrees and great sides. Or maybe Liberty Tree Tavern inside Magic Kingdom, an all-you-care-to-eat meal served family style with roasted turkey, roast beef and pork with salad, sides and dessert.

If you'd rather go with a regular sit-down restaurant, here are a few of our favorites, where we enjoy the food and the atmosphere. These are outside the parks: Kona Cafe at the Polynesian; California Grill and the Wave at the Contemporary; Flying Fish at the Boardwalk; Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge; Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian; and Raglan Road and Paradiso 37 at Downtown Disney

Other favorites inside Epcot that might appeal to your crowd include Rose and Crown and Le Cellier.

A couple of tips: Check out the independent site for complete menus from across Walt Disney World. That may help. And, as soon as you decide, be sure to make reservations.

Also know that the Disney chefs are very accommodating. They often can modify a dish to meet a guest's needs. Or, if you prefer the child's menu items, you usually can get an adult-sized portion.

I'm out of room, but I hope that helps. Please write back if I can elaborate. Enjoy, and say hi to our friend for me!
