We willbe headed to Disney at the end of February. I currently have a FP for the Frozen sing along. Is it necessary for that? Are there any characters in this show or is it a movie type show? Also could you tell me the best place to meet Merida? Thanks!!

Hi Lennie! Thank you so much for bringing your question to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I recently attended For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and thought it was such a great show for any Frozen fan. I told him I’d never tell, so don’t let the dad that was sitting next to me know I told you that he sang every single song during the show! I did use one of my FastPass+ selections for this experience and found it to be quite useful. When we went last month, the Cast Members first brought in the Guests in the FastPass+ queue and then filled remaining seats with Guests in the stand-by queue. We had a fantastic seat near the front of the filled Premiere Theater. My daughters are huge fans of Anna and Elsa, so I know that I will utilize FastPass+ anytime they want to see the show, which is filled with movie clips as well as characters on stage. Anna, Elsa and Kristoff do appear at various times throughout the show, but the majority of it is led by a few of Arendelle’s royal historians.

As for Princess Merida, she greets Guests at Magic Kingdom’s Fairytale Garden, which is located near Mad Tea Party attraction and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café. This meet-and-greet is a unique experience in that Guests waiting to meet her may participate in archery lessons and other activities while they await their turn with the princess. Pick up a Times Guide as you enter Magic Kingdom to confirm hours for meeting Princess Merida, as they are subject to change.

Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding your Disney Parks vacation!
