Is there a wilderness explorer ceremony once you have completed your badges? If so, what time is this? We are there 30th Oct 2016.

Greetings, Carolyn Jane, a heartfelt welcome to you from the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for consulting us regarding the delightful Wilderness Explorers activity at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

“The wilderness must be explored!” is the pledge said by our explorer Russell from the beloved Disney•Pixar film "Up" who was determined to collect his last Wilderness Explorer badge to earn him the status of Senior Wilderness Explorer. At each station, the Team Leader may ask for the Wilderness Explorer call-“Caw! Caw! Roar!” so be sure to pay close attention. By completing each mission, explorers earn a badge to place inside their Wilderness Explorer field guide. From beginning to finish and collection of the 30 badges may require a couple of visits but it can be done in one visit with diligence. If you earn 5 badges you are a Tadpole, earning 10 badges makes you a Minnow, 20 badges place you in the Fish category and the collection of 30 badges elevates your status to Senior Wilderness Explorer.

Currently, (subject to change), there is not a ceremony like the Senior Wilderness Explorer Ceremony at Disneyland Resort's Redwood Creek Challenge Trail located in Disney's California Adventure Park, but the activity at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is so educational, fun-filled and interactive that I'm confident your child will have an enriching and rewarding experience.

Don't forget to fully customize your vacation through My Disney Experience online and mobile app for Disney Dining, FastPass+ Planning and more!

    "Caw! Caw! Roar!" fellow adventurer!
