My wife and I are going to WDW in Sept. She is on oxygen, and I was hoping to find a relaxing alternative for watching fireworks. The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace seems ideal. If memory serves, this area is covered. How does this work?

    Hello, dear James!

I'm so happy that you're visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! You and your wife are going to have so much fun!

We will be delighted to help you plan for many memorable moments, so don't hesitate to bring more questions as you refine your plans for dining reservations, FastPass+ selections, and more!

I think that the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace sounds perfect for the two of you. The Tomorrowland Terrace is an excellent place to view the show because it's not that close to Cinderella Castle, but it's close enough to let you see the projections and blasts. Because of that, it allows Guests to sit while enjoying a view of the fireworks. If you visit this pdf version of Magic Kingdom Park's map, you'll find the Tomorrowland Terrace under the number 80.

You will be able to have an even better idea of the view from Tomorrowland Terrace if you visit this post on the Disney Parks Blog. The sixth photo, from top to bottom, features Cinderella Castle from a distance. It was taken from the covered area where the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace happens. While the castle is out of focus because the photographer chose to use a very shallow depth of field, this image will help you understand your point of view.

I hope that you and your wife can enjoy a fantastic evening celebrating your Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park this fall! Let us know if you want help choosing the best Disney Resort hotel for this unforgettable trip. We will be thrilled to hear from you again!

May the magic be with you and your wife,

    Julie
