My wife and I are visiting WDW this February to celebrate her 60th Birthday. We have a 9:30 reservation for breakfast at Bomas and are wondering how to travel there from Disney's Art Of Animation Resort via Disney Bus Service.

    Hi Edmund!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question!
How lovely that you'll be celebrating your wife's 60th Birthday at Walt Disney World!

Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my absolute favourite breakfast spots. We often begin our day there, prior to heading to Animal Kingdom park for the remainder of the day.

Getting to your breakfast reservation is quite simple, using 2 buses via Disney's Transportation system. Head out to your bus stop area at Disney's Art of Animation Resort at 8:30am. It's always recommended that you allow a full hour of travel time to reach a dining reservation. Board the first bus that arrives headed for Disney's Animal Kingdom park. Upon arrival at the park, simply proceed to the bus stop for Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's usually Bus Stop #9 at Animal Kingdom. There are two stops at Animal Kingdom Lodge, so be sure that you disembark from your second bus at Jambo House, and not Kidani Village.

Upon entering the majestic lobby at Animal Kingdom Lodge's Jambo House, you'll find Boma in the lower level. If you arrive early, head on out to Arusha Rock savannah overlook at the back of the lobby, or peruse the fantastic Zawadi Marketplace gift shop. It's amongst my favourite shops in all of Walt Disney World with so many treasures to discover.

I hope you'll come back to visit me again soon Edmund. I'd love to hear from you again.
Wishing your wife a simply Magical 60th Birthday at Walt Disney World!
