Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Joseph ~
I am glad to see that you are planning ahead for your wife. There have been a lot of changes over the years, but the Walt Disney World Resort remains committed to providing
services for Guests with mobility disabilities. When you arrive at the first theme park during your visit, go to Guest Relations and speak with a Cast Member regarding your wife's specific needs and
Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS is designed to assist Guests who are unable to wait in a standard queue for medical reasons including those that are not apparent. DAS is no longer an actual physical card but will be linked to your wife's
MagicBand. They will need to link everyone's MagicBand in your party as well so that you can all enter an attraction with your wife.
Once your wife obtains DAS, you can go to an attraction and see a Cast Member at the entrance to get a return time to come back and enter the Disney FastPass+ service queue. Your wife's DAS return time will show up in your My Disney Experience so be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your trip. She can only obtain a DAS return time for one attraction at a time but she can get another DAS return time as soon as she has enjoyed the attraction. The DAS can be used in addition to your wife's
Disney FastPass+ service selections.
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
