My wife and I have our tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on 12/3/15 and we were curious about how WDW handles clearing the MK of those who don't have tickets for the event?

    Hello Paul!

Thanks so much for your question. I am so excited that you have tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! It is one of my favorite holiday events to attend. Picture it now: the beautiful sparkling Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle with light snow falling all around and a cup of hot cocoa in hand. It is sure to put everyone in the holiday spirit.

Be sure to take a ride on Jingle Cruise, the seasonal version of Jungle Cruise, for some side splitting jungle fun. Also, don't forget to wave to Santa Claus for me as he passes by in Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade!

To answer your question, Magic Kingdom Cast Members will start checking everyone for wristbands after the start of the party. Right after you enter the park there will be a couple of festively dressed Cast Members handing out wristbands for those that are granted access inside of the park for the special event. Before you get on an attraction, get in line for a character meet and greet, or enter a shop, a Cast Member will kindly ask to see your wristband. If you do not have one, they will escort you to the entrance. I always make sure my wristband is clearly visible, as it helps Cast Members with crowd control.

I hope this helps. If you need anything else, please let us know. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
