My wife and I are thinking of coming down Thanksgiving weekend from like the 30th-Dec 3rd. We have been a couple of times already. Is there anything you would suggest for us to do as a couple that is cheap? Thank you

    Hi there J,

I'm so excited for you to have a quick getaway with your wife at The Happiest Place on Earth; it's the best place for kids of all ages to find their laughin' place.

Our family loves spending time at the Disneyland Resort during Thanksgiving time. The ambiance is magical and the holiday overlay is breathtaking.

Being that it is the two of you, utilize your quick feet to get FASTPASS tickets throughout the day. We like to recharge and have "mini" dates by getting a churro and a coffee.

Another fun thing we like to do is walk the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough. With the recent release of the movie Maleficent in theaters, this will be fun to experience. As you walk through the castle, you will read from an enlarged story book of Sleep Beauty and see some scenes from the movie. It's also really enchanting to know that you are walking through Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

Over in Disney California Adventure Park, head over to the Disney Animation Building, it is full of interactive Disney fun such as the Beast's Library - where you will learn which Disney character you are most like by answering a few questions. Or, have your voice stolen by the Sea Witch in Ursula's Grotto after you sing a melody from a Disney movie clip.

The Downtown Disney District in the evening will have live entertainment, there are also nearby bars and lounges, and then plenty of shops to browse.

On Main Street U.S.A. is the Silhouette Shop, make a stop in here to have a Couples Silhouette Portrait done of you and your wife as a souvenir by one of the talented Cast Member artists.

I hope this is helpful and that you have a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah time. If you have any more questions please write us back on how we can help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

Best wishes for a magical trip!
