Hi! My wife and I are running our first Disney half marathon this November when we run the Wine and Dine. What time do we need to arrive prior to the race start? Also, is there somewhere that I can find a list of the hotels provided shuttles to the race?

    Hi Lanny!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations to you and your wife on signing up for your first Half Marathon! I'll be traveling to Walt Disney World for Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend too and I'm starting to brainstorm costume ideas right now!

The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon is currently scheduled to start at 5:30 AM. For Guests staying on property, all Walt Disney World Resort hotels will have transportation provided. It is recommended that race participants board transportation no later than 4 AM to make it to your corral on time. Traditionally the transportation will start as early as 3 AM. These times are subject to change, but you'll receive more concrete information on this when the Digital Event Guide is released a few weeks prior. It will confirm whether everything is the same as it's been in the past, as I've listed above.

If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you'll need to check whether your hotel provides any type of shuttle for runDisney race weekends. If you are staying on property, then your transportation is not only provided for the race itself, but for the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo too! Just check with a friendly Cast Member at the front desk and they should be able to assist you with details of where the runDisney transportation will be picking up from. In my experience, it is not with the standard transportation to and from the parks, but instead usually closer to the lobby where Disney Magical Express would drop off.

Please let me know if y'all have any other questions!
