My wife and I are planning a trip to Disney World and have seen some really great MagicBands with images of characters and names written in Disney font. Where do you go to get these instead of the bands that are just a color and name on the inside?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janie!

MagicBands are one of my favorite things about a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort as it adds so much convenience to our trip! It gives you access to your admission ticket, FastPass+ reservation and Memory Maker account plus, if you are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, it also serves as your room key and provides charging privileges to your room. All Guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will receive a complimentary solid-color MagicBand that they can add customized writing on the inside.

Graphic MagicBands with characters or Walt Disney World landmarks are retail MagicBands that can be purchased during your trip. It is such a fun way to show your Disney Side and some of them even have special lights or music that play at attraction touch points. New retail MagicBand designs are generally announced on the Disney Parks Blog, so you can keep an eye there to get some ideas of what may be available on your next trip. I love my Olaf MagicBand and I am hoping to get a Tinker Bell MagicBand on my next trip!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
