My wife homeschools our 6 year old daughter and we're going to WDW in Nov of '09. Are there any special rates, discounts, special days, anything that Disney does for homeschoolers that you know of?

Disney's Homeschool Days are being held on September 15 & 16 this year.  Disney Homeschool Days

Disney also offers a YES program (Youth Education Series) in which many homeschooling groups elect to participate.  This is, however, a group activity - not for individuals.  YES Program

Other than the above mentioned special events, there are no special discounts or activities available for homeschoolers.  However, there are lots of ways to make your Disney vacation an educational experience.

Animal Kingdom is a great spot!  Kids can get the Discovery Club Passport  and/or Safari Journal, earn stamps for learning about the animals, and maybe even get a small prize for completing the project.

Epcot is another great educational experience.  Spaceship Earth and the Innoventions halls are learning fun.  Be sure to visit the Kidcot Fun Stops in each country, where your daughter can do a craft and learn about the various cultures.  We buy a World Passport to have stamped in each country, and cast members from each can write in the book as well.  This is a great opportunity to learn a few words in different languages!  Also visit the www.themouseforless.com downloads section - great sheets for making Epcot educational!

At Magic Kingdom the Hall of Presidents, Carousel of Progress and Tom Sawyer Island all present great learning opportunities.

Hollywood Studios may be a bit of a stretch for your daughter's age, but there are science lessons to be had in Fantasmic! and the Lights, Motors, Action! shows.  And of course studying the art of animation and film-making.

I hope this helps you with a few ideas!
