My wife, her family and my parents are going down the week of Thanksgiving. What are some special things I could do for my 5 year old nephew so he doesn't feel left out while his sister does the princess stuff.

Hey there, Uncle Kyle! You are such a great uncle to want to give your nephew special memories of your trip to Walt Disney World

There are some awesome things you can do with your little Mouseketeer. Most of the boys I know have enjoyed things like Jedi Training AcademyCaptain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial, or even meet and greets with some of his favorite characters.

If you're looking to kick it up a notch, check out The Pirates League. Similar to the makeover experience his sister might be enjoying at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the Pirates League transforms kids into a swashbuckling pirate, including giving them a cool pirate name. There are packages for everyone, that go from a small face painted feature to full on costume. It's so much fun.

The whole family - but especially your nephew - might want to sail the Seven Seas (lagoon) with the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. You'll party like a pirate at Disney's Contemporary Resort before heading off on your boat to get a perfect seat to view the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. Now that's something special.

Don't forget to visit the new Toy Story Land. It's great fun for everyone, but for a little boy, it's pure magic.

    Enjoy your visit!
