My wife and I have been to Disney dozens of times, but this is the first time as a Disney vacation club member. We are going to be stayinn Kandi village my question is are there photographers there to capture our first time there

    Hi Andrew!

Congratulations on becoming Disney Vacation Club Members! Kidani Village, part of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas is my family’s home resort. Like you, our very first Disney Vacation Club stay was at Kidani Village! While there are not actual PhotoPass Photographers stationed at the resort, we have always found the Cast Members at the entrance to be very happy and willing to take our photograph. At the main entrance to the lobby is a Disney Vacation Club emblem and the words “Welcome Home” above the doorway. This is where we like to take our traditional family photo. Now that we have stayed there several times, it is fun to see how the photos of our family have changed over the years. Not only are the kids getting bigger, we have added a family member!

If you would like a professional portrait session to commemorate your first visit as Disney Vacation Club Members, Disney Fine Art Photography does offer portrait sessions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. My family did a mini session several years ago at Jambo House and we were very happy with our photographs. Since my parents live several states away, it is difficult to do extended family photos. This was the perfect way to capture those memories and we solved the yearly quest for the perfect photo for our holiday card.

Have a wonderful first trip as Disney Vacation Club Members. Let me be one of the very first to offer you a warm, “Welcome Home!”

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
