Wife & I coming to WDW Sept 19-23 at PO Riverside celebrating her retirement. Have room only special at AllStar Music Sept 18. Is Downtown Disney considered a park needing tickets? Thought this might be a fun place eve before our celebration.Ideas for

    Hi Ken,

What a wonderful way to celebrate your wife's retirement! Spending the evening of the 18th at Downtown Disney is a great idea. Tickets are not required, and you'll find a lot of fun stores and great restaurants to explore. If she is a Christmas fan, be sure to check out the "Days of Christmas Store". The "World of Disney Store" is enormous, you could spend hours in there. We always enjoy browsing the "Art of Disney" store as well. Be sure to top off your evening with a pit stop at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop!

Wishing you a magical vacation with your wife,
