    Chris from MI Asked

My wife and I are coming in June with 3 of our grandchildren ages 11, 12 (girls) and 15 (boy) and we are thinking about a cabin in the Wilderness Resort. Would these cabins be big enough for all 5 of us?

    Hi there, Chris!

There are actually two hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort which use the word "Wilderness": Disney's Wilderness Lodge and The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness.

The Lodge is a Deluxe Resort, located just across Bay Lake from the Magic Kingdom,. A standard room comes with two queen beds or one queen bed and one bunk bed.

Fort Wilderness, on the other hand, features the Cabins that would be perfect for your needs. Each Cabin features a bedroom with a a double bed and a set of bunk beds. In the separate living area, you'll find a pull-down double bed and a sofa. Each Cabin can easily sleep six. With its full kitchen and spacious living area, a Cabin is a great choice for larger parties. Do be aware, though, that there is only one restroom in each Cabin, and the commode and the shower are not in separate rooms.

Disney has other options for parties of five or more Guests. Check out their suggestions on their official Web site; you will find options that can accommodate up to nine Guests!

    Have a wonderful family vacation!

    See you later, celebrator,
