My wife and I along with our 2 girls (ages 14 and 7) will be coming to WDW in March 2012. Which hotel would you recommend staying at the WL, AKL, PR, or CS?

The Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge are two of my favorite Disney resorts, so I'd definitely choose one of them. What would ultimately make my decision for me is budget.

If I could afford a savannah view room, I would go with the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Having a cup of coffee on the balcony while giraffes graze outside your room is pretty spectacular. This resort is always a hit with kids, too, and Kidani Village has a great splash park area your little one would love.

If the upgrade to savannah view wasn't an option, I would stay at the Wilderness Lodge instead. It had the same architects as the AKL so the resort itself is similarly beautiful, and its Magic Kingdom location is hard to beat. I actually prefer it over a monorail resort, because it lends a secluded feel that makes the themeing that much more authentic. And from here, you can also enjoy the electrical water pageant every evening, and possibly even catch a bit of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. And of course the amenities of Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary resort are just a quick boat ride away.

Honestly, I think all four are great resorts in their own ways, and I think you'd be happy with any of them. These are just my personal preferences.

    Good luck!
