Why are so many tours 16 years and older? I have a 14 year old and a 17 year old and it is difficult to find tours that the 14 year old can do.

    Hi Vickie!

I believe that one of the reasons for the 16 year old age limit for some of the tours at Walt Disney World is that many of the tours go into areas that are backstage.  There are many things that one can see backstage that might destroy "the magic" for younger guests.  Click here to go to the Walt Disney World Tours webpage.  There actually are a few incredible tours that your family could go on listed on the Disney Parks Website and I am going recommend two of them to you.  They are:

The Wild Africa Trek in the Animal Kingdom.  This is a brand new, amazing tour!  I did it with my 13 year old son and we had an incredible time and we got up close and personal with hippos and crocodiles!

Behind the Seeds Tour in the Land Pavilion at Epcot. My son and I have taken this great tour three times and learned different things each time.

I hope that you have an amazing time going on a tour as a family on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
