Why do most of you recommend leaving the park at lunchtime when that park has morning EMH? I would think the park with the evening EMH(not the morning EMH) would be busier in the afternoon. Can you explain? Thanks!

    Denise,

I don't know if I recommend to everyone to leave the park around lunch time due to Extra Magic Hours. I do, however, recommend to anyone with smaller children to return to their resorts for nap/pool/quiet time in the early afternoon.

Even with kids that don't take daily naps anymore (like my oldest), that quiet 'down time' is an essential refueling point for them. If they don't get it, it will cost you later. Maybe not that day, but by the end of the vacation you will have VERY tired children, and there is no getting them back on track.

Also, if someone is already going back to their resort for that relaxation time, and they have the Park Hopper option, then why not move over to the park that has evening Extra Magic Hours? If you can enjoy extra time in two parks in the same day, why not?

Finally, if you are going to change parks, after lunch is a good time to do it, when you are probably ready for a change of scenery anyway.

Does that help? If not, please let me know and I will try again!

    Have a magical vacation!
