Why is there a pin number hooked to our wristbands? Where Will we need to use it?

Hello, Kathy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have an inkling that you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort as a Guest at one of our spectacularly themed Disney Resort hotels, to enjoy unique benefits and many magical experiences, Kathy. One of those benefits includes using a MagicBand, (requiring the PIN-Code), is the ability to shop freely Resort-wide and charge purchases and Disney Dining to your Disney Resort hotel Guest Room account. Another great benefit of using your complimentary MagicBand, as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, is the ability to unlock your Guest Room door and to experience many little surprises during your attraction visits. Your MagicBands will also store your valid, linked Disney Theme Park Admission, grant you access to reserved FastPass+ attractions, they’ll store your Disney PhotoPass images and more!

Please customize your plans for FastPass+ Planning, Disney Dining Reservations and personalizing MagicBands with My Disney Experience to optimize your visit and check out our flexible Disney Dining Plans. Create an inclusive, pre-paid Disney vacation by modifying your current Disney Resort hotel package reservation by calling (407) 939-5277, or by adding a Disney Dining Plan during your booking of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package.
