Deborah, Disney is very conscious of guests with many different disabilities and challenges.  They want to allow every guest a chance for a magical time visiting their parks and resorts.

An excellent resource book for those with disabilities planning a Disney visit is the book, Passporter's Open Mouse for Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line by Deb Wills and Debra Martin Koma.  This can be found and purchased at most major bookstores as well as on line through amazon.com.  It can take you through each park and each attraction describing the process of getting on rides, transferring, and just about anything else you might have questions about.  It will also cover resorts and the challenges you might meet and how to maneuver through those with ease.

Please click on this link to read the information about disabilities from the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com .  In addition, stop by Guest Services which can be found at each park to pick up a disability guide and ask the cast members for their suggestions and updates for your visit.

I know you are looking forward to a memorable visit for your daughter and husband and yourself.  Coming prepared will help ease the stress for you.
