We've booked a suite @ AOA n Nov for 3 adults & 3 kids. Thinking of changing to 2 rms @ POFQ. Is it worth the extra cost to upgrade to a mod resort in Nov? The only real difference I see is the slide at the pool. Don't plan on dining at any mod res

    Hi Christina!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

This is a hard question.  Normally, I would say that staying at a Disney Moderate Resort is generally better than staying at a Disney Value Resort because of the added services and amenities at a Moderate Resort.  However, in the case of Disney's Art of Animation being so new, I suggest staying with the Art of Animation Resort.  The concept art looks fabulous and the food court sounds wonderful.  I'm not a huge fan of the food court at Port Orleans French Quarter, though guests staying there can use the food court at Port Orleans Riverside as well.

As I said it's a hard decision, but I would be inclined to stay at the new resort.  Disney doesn't open new resorts that often so this could be a unique opportunity.  Good luck with your decision!
