Hi Neal,
I am so happy for you that you already have your next Thanksgiving vacation booked!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a lovely, tropical place to have as your landing spot for your Walt Disney World vacation.
My family just came back from a Thanksgiving trip to Walt Disney World. It is a popular time of year to visit, so there can be many other guests in the theme parks. We still had a wonderful time! Let me share with you some of my tricks for visiting Walt Disney World at a popular time of year.
First, do be sure to make
Disney FastPass+ selections for your stay. With Disney FastPass+ selections, you will be able to experience some attractions on each day of your stay with shortened wait times. Since you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, you will be able to make these 60 days ahead of your check-in date. Be sure that you have theme park tickets linked in your My Disney Experience account in order to make your Disney FastPass+ selections. The great news is that for children under 3 years old, you will not need park tickets or Disney FastPass+ selections - they can go with you as your guest!
I also like to arrive at the theme parks as early as I can, even 30 minutes before the posted opening time if possible. So many guests sleep in on vacation that you will find those early hours to see fewer guests in the theme parks. This is a great time to go on popular attractions.
Finally, considering the ages of your children, do check out the
Baby Care Centers. Located in each of the four theme parks, these are a wonderful place to feed, change, or simply take a break with your little ones.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Neal!
