Hi! We’ve booked early morning magic at Magic Kingdom and staying off site so will be driving. Will the monorail or ferry be running that early in the morning?

    chEARs Carrie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are headed to the most Magical Place on Earth from one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I know you are going to have an incredible time!

Early Morning Magic is a VIP event that gives you early access to seven iconic Fantasyland attractions as well as a tasty breakfast. I know that my first (and middle, and last!) stop would be Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! After a dip in a honey pot and a ride around the world, you will probably be ready for breakfast (served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am) at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.

Magic Kingdom Park Watercraft transportation usually starts about 45 minutes before Park opening (including Early Morning Magic hours!), and the Express Monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center starts 30 minutes before the earliest Park opening and continues until one hour after Park close. My husband’s favorite way to start a Magic Kingdom day is to sail across Seven Seas Lagoon on the Ferryboat. My son’s preferred mode of transportation is the Monorail. Both will work fantastically for you!

Carrie, you can arrive at the far left Touchpoints of Magic Kingdom Park’s Main Entrance as early as 7:30 am. Once you are through, head straight to Fantasyland where they will let you in at 7:45 am. You might be lucky enough to get a picture on Main Street U.S.A. with Cinderella Castle as your background without anybody else in the frame. Another reason to love Early Morning Magic!

I wish you an enchanted vacation ~ Rayna
