We've booked a 4 day cruise to Bahama's on the Dream bc of the Aquaduct. Now, the Magic announced they are ALSO getting Aquaduct & the new Marvel thing in the Kid's Club. Magic looks to be a lot cheaper, pros and cons of switching ships? THANK YOU!

    Hi Mindy!
It is wonderful to hear from you again!  My family is having a similar debate about our next sailing because my kiddos are very intrigued by all the exciting changes coming to the Magic!  My son can't wait to "enroll" in Avengers Academy and my daughter wants to take the plunge on the AquaDunk!
As you think about your "Pro/Con" list, I would definitely factor in price, itinerary, and length of cruise.  No matter how many times I'm fortunate enough to experience a Disney Cruise, I always long for more days onboard. You may want to consider a five-night itinerary on the Magic to give you an extra day to take it all in!  Both ships have a similar classic oceanliner feel with elegant decor and a touch of Disney whimsy.  The Dream is a larger vessel with a few amenities and activities you won't find on the Magic even after she has been reimagined.  The Midship Detective Agency with its innovative Enchanted Art is a Guest favorite along with the AquaDuck (a bit of a longer ride than the new AquaDunk).
Since the Magic is smaller, many Guests like the more intimate feel of this size vessel.  The rotational dining will be updated with a new Brazilian themed restaurant to try, Carioca's as well as magical enhancements to my favorite Animator's Palate!  Along with the exciting transformation on the pool deck, the Oceaneer Club and Lab will be an all-new kid friendly oasis to explore!
I would also consider the ports of call on your itinerary.  Look at the Port Adventure options for both cruises you are considering to see if there are any "must do" excursions on either one.
The decision isn't easy, Mindy.  My hope for you is that this is not your only Disney Cruise and you can set sail again for another magical voyage!  The onboard booking benefits are great and good to take advantage of for future sailings.
I hope I was of some help! Have a magical day and good luck!
