I was 12 when I went to Disney world. I am going to be in Florida in the next two weeks and my parents that are seniors and my self want to go to Disney. I don’t want to go to Epcot I would like to visit one of the others. Which would you recommend?

    Hi Angela,

How exciting to be returning to Walt Disney World for the first time in years! You are going to have a wonderful time with you parents. Visiting Disney Parks as an adult is an entirely different experience than going as a child. No doubt you will be blown away by how much things have changed. Based on the facts that you have eliminated Epcot as an option, and you are traveling with seniors, I would recommend that you spend the day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This park has a very laid back atmosphere. In fact, our family considers it our "downtime park". My mom (in her late 60's) enjoys it the most out of any of the Disney Parks. The Kilimanjaro Safaris is a wonderful attraction for all ages. You all can stroll on the Maharajah Jungle Trek and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail together. Depending on whether or not your parents are daredevils, they may even enjoy Kali River Rapids. It is one of my moms favorites. There are two "must-see" shows at Disney's Animal Kingdom: The Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - The Musical. I believe that your parents will enjoy both of these Broadway caliber productions.

    Wishing you magical memories,
