We just went to Disney World in April for my 5 year old's birthday and he had a BLAST! Both of my boys (the other is 4!) can't wait to go back. How is the weather in December? I'm thinking of a surprise Christmas trip for them!

    Hi Nasheena,

I love reading about guest's trips where they had so much fun!  And now to surprise your son's with a Christmas trip -- WONDERFUL!  I adore WDW over the holidays; the parks & resorts are simply beautiful.

We've had December trips where we wore shorts comfortably during the day, & we've had trips where we had to purchase gloves/hats to stay warm.  If I turn to the research, the average December daily temperature is 62 degrees and not a lot of rain - only 1.9" average inches in the month. If it were me, I'd plan on jackets in the morning/evening, but I'd follow the weather before coming down just in case things weren't "average."

Just an fyi, the Wilderness Lodge, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Grand Floridian all have Christmas trees that will take your breath away!
