I went to Disney in September 08 with the free dining, do you think that it is busier at this time than any other value season time?

    Hello Krista,

Free dining is a marketing campaign to get people to vacation at Walt Disney World during late August/September time frame and I think it works!  Our family took advantage of this offer last year and although the crowds were increased, we did find they were still very manageable.  I would not hesitate to go again during this promotion.

One thing to remember about this time frame (besides it being peak hurricane season!) is the fact that school children are just heading back in school.    Many families of school aged children are not able to take advantage of the free dining offer for this reason.

I would say other value times (January/February) may be less busy, but you may have more of the routine rehabs in effect for some of the attractions.
