This must be a weird question but I was wondering when you pass your magic band in the entrance of the park does it says the persons name and age Thank you

    Hello Elizabeth,

The MagicBand has become a convenient way for Guests to have access to their Walt Disney World Resort rooms and perks; such as room charging privileges and Disney Dining Plans access; as well as having the ease of Walt Disney World tickets, Special Event tickets and FastPass+ selections securely assigned to a Guest's individual MagicBand. While the MagicBand, itself, does not store information in it, each band does have an assigned code and uses a RF technology, which allows it to link to a database where a Guests information is used to better their experience. So, no, when you tap your MagicBand at the entrance to a Walt Disney World theme park a Guest name and age does not show up on your MagicBand but the experience, of that individual Guest, is recorded in a database. If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
