Hi, in 3 weeks, taking our 2.5 year old to Disney. Where is the best place to stay that accommodates small children and any advice on how to sleep in same room with child? She's a great sleeper, but not sure how to approach hotel arrangements?

Hi, Katherine!  Any of the resorts are wonderful for small children, but check out the brand new Art of Animation resort.  Not only is the brightly colored decor and familiar characters appealing to little ones, but you can book a family suite that will give you a separate bedroom.

The family suites are about the same cost as a moderate resort, and you'll have a microwave and refrigerator, a master bedroom, three other fold out sleeping options, and two bathrooms.  It's a great way to get a little one ready while someone else is showering in the other bathroom, and it's awesome for potty emergencies!

My girls were always so tired at the end of a busy theme park day that even before there were family suites, they would just fall asleep right away.  You can request bed rails from your resort (issued on a first come, first served basis), and that will help keep your little one safely in bed.  We just lowered the volume on the television or turned in early ourselves.

    I hope this helps!
