3 Weeks! Seems like more and more people are being chosen for MyMagic+ testing. We have not been chosen yet. Im thinking at this point we wont be. How has all of these testers effected the standby lines so far? Are we going to have to wait longer?

    Hi there Jessica!

The selection of Guests to utilize and 'test' select components of the new MyMagic+ is specific to only certain Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. So far, testing has seemed to have occurred at between 2-4 resorts at any one time and the chosen resorts have varied over the past few months. Not all Guests of each resort are part of the test but rather just select groups. None of this is 'official' information but rather based upon online buzz and information from a few friends and neighbours who have been lucky enough to have been amongst the testers recently or in the coming weeks.

MyMagic+ is intended to enhance the overall Guest experience but not to take away from or lessen the quality of other Guests' visits. As a non-tester during your visit, I don't believe that you will find your experience to be any different than you should be expecting. The Guests who may be using such new enhancements as FastPass+ will not affect your waits in Stand By queues for the same attractions. I've certainly not heard or read any negative buzz on that topic so I think you'll find your experience to be every bit as magical as you're hoping for!

Don't forget that you'll still be able to take advantage of Disney FASTPASS system just as you normally would ... so be sure that you do! There's no better way to ensure that your family is able to enjoy all of your favourite attractions around the parks.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to write me back Jessica. I'd love to hear from you again.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
