6 weeks and we can't wait,it's our 1st time, 3 adults and 3 kids and I'm thinking food!!Do we have to make resevations for every place we want to eat in??Or only for the character dining?

    Paulo,

You should really try to make reservations as soon as possible.  All of the restaurants are in great demand.  Very few things are less frustrating than wanting to sit down for a nice dinner and finding that you can't get in anywhere.

My family usually plans out which park we want to do which day.  I then make dinner reservations accordingly.  We also plan open days where I make reservations at a resort or Downtown Disney instead of a theme park.  This why we can go to any park and then hop on a WDW bus to get to dinner.  Some of our favorites for the open days are the Whispering Canyon Cafe,Chef Mickey's, the Kona Cafe, and the Raglan Road Irish Pub.

If you don't have reservations you will find that you may have to eat earlier or later than you like and you may not be able to eat at your first or second choice restaurant.

    Enjoy
