Only weeks away, have magic bands, put military tickets on the band. Will be at HS first park, do we still check in before going in to prove military status? Have 6 military, 2 not. Do we need the tickets plus the band to do this?

Hi, Joan! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I would first like to extend my gratitude to the military member in your family. It is an honor to assist you with your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation and all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel truly appreciate all of the sacrifices made by our service men and women.

When you purchased your theme park tickets, you were probably given ticket-sized Exchange Certificate Vouchers. These do need to be activated before use. You will need to have Military I.D. available during activation, which can be completed at these locations:

*Transportation and Ticket Center Ticket or Guest Relations windows
*Magic Kingdom Park Guest Relations windows
*Epcot – Main Entrance or International Gateway Ticket or Guest Relations windows
*Disney's Hollywood Studios Ticket or Guest Relations windows
*Animal Kingdom Park Ticket or Guest Relations windows
*Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach Water Park Guest Relations
    *Disney Springs Guest Relations

To make sure everything goes swimmingly during activation, I do recommend you bring the tickets or vouchers with you. Your MagicBands will also be needed so they can all be linked back to the correct profiles in your My Disney Experience account. I am glad you thought ahead to link the tickets or vouchers to your account so you could complete FastPass+ selections!

I hope you have a wonderful vacation where the magic is endless, Joan! Please stop by again if you have any other questions.
