    Weekend events for April 21-23?

    Hi Terri,

It looks like you are heading to Walt Disney World today! I have a couple of thoughts of some special weekend activities this weekend at Walt Disney World.

First, you are traveling during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. If you get a chance to head to Epcot, do be sure to check out the offerings, which include beautiful topiary displays and outdoor kitchens. On the weekends, the Garden Rocks Concert Series occurs. This series features great classic hits by wonderful bands. Shows take place at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the America Gardens Theatre. This weekend, you can see The Orchestra starring former members of ELO.

Also, this weekend is Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side weekend at Walt Disney World. This is something to keep on your radar as to why you might see many guests wearing medals and Darth Vader or Kylo Ren shirts at the theme parks this weekend!

These are the special events of which I am aware at Walt Disney World this weekend. You can always check the special events page for Walt Disney World to see what events are planned during different months.

I hope that this information is helpful for you Terri! Have a wonderful weekend at Walt Disney World!
