We'd like to buy a FastPass+ for my daughter so she could meet some of her favorite characters on her birthday! Will my husband need to have one to enter, since she's 4? Will my 16 month old daughter be able to enter along with them? Who takes the picture?

    Hi Elizabeth!

FastPass+ is complementary for all guests who are visiting any of the four Walt Disney World parks with valid theme park admission.  Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort can make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance.  Guests not staying on property can make selections up to 30 days in advance.

Since your daughter is 4, she will require a theme park ticket, therefore will need a FastPass+ for any of the attractions you choose to select.  Any guest accompanying her over the age of 2 will also need a FastPass+ to gain access to the FastPass+ queue.  For example, if your husband is taking both daughters to visit Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom, your husband and your oldest daughter will need a FastPass+ for this meet & greet.  Your youngest will not need one since she is under 3.

All of the character meetings with FastPass+ participation will have a PhotoPass photographer there to take pictures.  You can also take pictures with your own camera and even ask them to take photos for you with your own camera.

    Have a magical day!
