Is there a website that will give directions to and from the different resorts and parks?

    Hello, Kaylene!

Welcome back to the Moms Panel! When my family and I drive down to the Walt Disney World Resort, we like to use the free Google Maps app (also a website) on one of our smartphones to navigate the roads, though the Disney Resort hotels and theme parks are marked quite well on signs throughout the resort.

If you choose to take advantage of the other complimentary transportation options to get to and from your Walt Disney World destinations, you should be aware of these general guidelines:
    • Complimentary Disney transportation does not take Guests from one Disney Resort hotel to another, with the exception of the hotels that are connected by the Resort Monorail route. If you plan to travel to and from the other Disney Resort hotels, you would need to take a bus, boat or monorail to a theme park and then transfer to a bus to reach your destination.
    • Disney's transportation does have an operating schedule, generally available one hour prior to theme park opening to one hour after theme park closing time. If you plan to enjoy a bit of late night fun at Downtown Disney, you should be able to catch a bus until 2:00 a.m.
    • Taxi service is also available from your Disney Resort hotel, though it is not free. A Cast Member at your hotel can help you to arrange for transportation to your next destination.
    • You can see a good run-down of transportation options between Walt Disney World destinations online.
I hope that you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Kaylene! If you have any other questions before your upcoming trip, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
