Is the weather too hot for toddlers to cruise Eastern Caribbean during the summer months?

    Hi Devonie,

While the Caribbean is a tropical region, and the summer months are typically thought of as very hot, the Eastern Caribbean is actually not as extreme as you might think.  The temperature averages 77 degrees as the low; 90 degrees as a high.   Personally, I don't think that it would be too hot for toddlers, especially if you are enjoying the beautiful beaches.  I have taken my children (at various ages) on Caribbean cruises during the summer months and we've never had an issue.  All you need to remember are sun hats, sunscreen and water and juice to keep them hydrated.  Remember, if you think they are getting uncomfortable, you can always head back to the ship to enjoy the rest of the day.  I really don't think you need to worry about the temperatures.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.  I understand how you feel since your child is young.  Trust me, I've been there!  I hope you have a wonderful trip!
